To assist you with deciding whether to invest your time and resources to making an application, the following information may help...
- Currently the focus of our funding is for projects and groups based in the North East of England - Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham and the Tees Valley.
- The easiest way to apply for funding is to complete our online application form, or the downloadable application, if you prefer. Alternatively, for smaller requests of up to £5,000 you can write to us at the PO Box address: The Ballinger Charitable Trust, PO Box 245, Morpeth NE61 3DA.
- We will acknowledge receipt of your application as quickly as we can. A decision may take up to six months depending on the size of fund applied for.
- There is no annual deadline for funding applications to be made.
- We do not fund sponsorship of any kind.
- There is no minimum or maximum threshold limit to the funding that can be applied for. However, please consider the genuine costs of your proposal, any other grants awarded or that you have applied for elsewhere. We will review your budget on the application form where appropriate.
- The larger the fund applied for, the greater the amount of detail will be required in the Application Form.
- If you receive a grant from the Ballinger Charitable Trust you may be asked to provide an independent report on how successfully the grant/project has been managed.
